FWIW I have owned the Yates bigwall harness, the misty mountain full strength chest harness, the Metolius zero strength “bigwall” chest gear sling with separated loops, and the black diamond no strength zodiac chest gear sling. (numbered by what order I like them)
#3 Misty Mountain: had a misty mountain chest harness (Probably still have it somwhere) and hated it. Mostly the gear loops were rather flatish and so non-keynose carabiners were constantly getting hungup on them (especially with a lot of gear on the loop like is the case in aid climbing)
#1 Yates Bigwall: My go-to aid harness. Comfortable and damn near perfect. Only issue I have is I get distracted constantly thinking, “Why is this ring here in the middle of my chest?”
#4 Bdel Zodiac Gear Sling: Crap
#2 Metolius “Bigwall” sling: Crap for nailing aid (can’t hold an iron and cam/nut rack without being toast by the end of the wall imo) BUT good for long multipitch trad, especially for swapping leads. I would think this would be good for a follower on a wall because of the separated loops for various items being cleaned.
